I am thinking about Combined Lower Blepharoplasty due to dark circles, below eye fatty deposit and shallow wrinkles.
I am curious whether it will be effective on horizontal layers of shallow wrinkles.
I am worried more wrinkles may form being through the surgery involving repeated
swelling and shrinking of below eye areas, which is already weak and inelastic.
How long do incision scars below eyes last?
Any possibility of these scars remaining permanently depending on skin types?
Lastly, should I get the surgery done sooner or later when I am aged little more?

The surgery covers vast areas underneath eyes, you must take complete rest for at least 2 days after the surgery.
After that, even with stitches, normal daily life is possible(stitches look similar to inner eyelids and do not look strange) and in 3-4 days, stitches are removed. Just like any other stitches, it is best to avoid water while stitches are in but you can resume facial wash with water one day after the removal of stitches. You still want to be cautious until the 3rd week after the surgery, from when you can engage in activities such as scrubbing facial washing, sauna, swimming etc.
There is no specific time defined for the surgery. You can take the surgery when you feel your lower eyelids are sagging and begin to look significantly different to other people...
People in their teens or 20\'s with weakness below eyes can have similar aging symptoms as those in their 30-40\'s and they can be manifested in forms of sagging charm muscles, dark circles below eyes, fatty swellings and increasing grooves. When you begin to be increasingly concerned about changes happening below your eyes, is the right time to have the surgery and this usually coincides with when the physical age of your below eye area reaches 40 year old. In other words, when you cover your upper eyelids and just looking at lower eyelids, if you think they look close to people in their 40\'s, it would be the time you need to have the surgery done.
