I want to inquire about upper eyelid surgery.
My mum has sagging eyelids and wants to have a surgery done.
She has inner eyelids and quite thick wrinkles on forehead.
She also wants to get rid of them. Please let me know the cost

It is assumed that her overall eyelids are sagging due to her age and in this case, Upper blepharoplasty is suitable, where a direct incision is made to cut out several tissues.... if eyelids are drooping over your eyes, wrinkles on forehead will deepen and the drooping will get worse as time goes on and it is strongly advised to fix the problem as soon as possible.
As a matter of reference, upper blepharoplasty involves incision of tissues such as skin, muscle and fat while creating double eyelids at the same time, whereas buried method merely involves creating double eyelids. In young people, simple buried method is preferred for its natural and beautiful eye-lines but incional buried method is for aged people with drooping eyes, where buried method is no longer effective...
Some time during recovery period of upper blepharoplasty between 2,3~6months, the final result will show but after the removal of stitches, it is ok to make outings and 2-3weeks after that, you will be recovered enough not to worry. Surgical stitches will be removed about 4days afterwards and you shouldn\'t be concerned about scars.
In many cases, forehead wrinkles are formed due to sagging upper eyelids and should get much better after an upper blepharoplasty but deep wrinkles already formed can be eased with fillers or forehead lift surgery. It will be best to see you in person and tell you accurately.
